Are you accepting new clients?
Yes.
Feel free to schedule a confidential 15-minute phone or video call with me to explore whether my services fit your needs and if we would work well together!
Insurance, Fees, and Privacy?
Insurance: My practice is transitioning to a fully private-pay model, with a target completion of 2027. New clients are accepted on a private-pay basis. A limited number of existing clients remain on select in-network plans through Headway during this transition.
Out-of-Network reimbursement: If your plan includes Out-of-Network (OON) benefits, you may be able to receive partial reimbursement. Upon request, I provide monthly Superbills (service receipts) for standard 60-minute sessions, which you can submit to your insurance provider. Superbills are not available for the 90-minute intake or extended session formats, as these fall outside standard insurance coding. I recommend contacting your carrier directly to verify your OON coverage for mental health services before we begin.
Fees: A complete list of service types and rates is included in the financial agreement and Good Faith Estimate, which you will review and sign prior to our initial session. A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or changes to a scheduled session.
Privacy: I use Sessions Health for scheduling, documentation, and billing, alongside a HIPAA-compliant Google Workspace. These platforms provide a secure, encrypted environment for all aspects of your care.
What's working with you like?
You do not have to translate yourself here, or decide which version of your story is the acceptable one. I will tell you what I notice, including the things you have stopped noticing yourself. You will leave with something to try, and we will check the following week whether it did anything for you.
I work well with people who are curious about their inner world, who want to understand their patterns instead of only managing symptoms, and who are open to a creative and flexible path. Many of my clients identify as neurodivergent, as empaths, or as people navigating more than one culture and language.
What are your specialities?
- Trauma and its aftereffects: Single-incident and complex trauma, hypervigilance, dissociation, numbness, shame, guilt, hopelessness, depression, avoidance, isolation, difficulty trusting, cycles of abuse.
- Stress and the nervous system: Anxiety, worry, panic, irritability, anger, impulsivity, restlessness, overthinking, poor concentration, sleep disturbances, physical symptoms of stress.
- ADHD and neurodivergence: Diagnosed as an adult, diagnosed young and never told what it meant, or still wondering. Therapy for what grows around ADHD: masking, shame, the harsh inner voice, and the exhaustion of running a life on systems built for a different kind of brain.
- Eating, food, and the body: Emotional and stress-related eating, and nutrition-informed psychoeducation as part of your overall care.
- Self and identity: Self-exploration and self-realization, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, existential questioning, adapting across cultures and languages, navigating life transitions.
- Relationships and life stages: Parenting and family communication, dating and partnership struggles, codependency, childfree support, grief and bereavement support.
What are your limitations?
- As a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am required to provide services only to New York State residents. However, I am working on applying for licensure in other states, so please stay tuned.
- My practice does not offer a sliding fee scale for new clients. A limited number of reduced-fee arrangements exist for established clients experiencing documented, temporary financial hardship, per my financial policies.
- FMLA (Family and Medical Leave) paperwork is available for clients who have been working with me weekly for at least 6 months. Availability of FMLA benefits also depends on your employer's specific policies.
- ESA (Emotional Support Animal) letters fall outside my scope of practice.
- I do not provide formal ADHD testing or diagnosis. That route goes through a psychologist or a psychiatrist, and medication questions belong with a prescriber. If you are in that process or considering it, we can talk about where therapy fits alongside it.
- Medical nutrition therapy falls outside my scope as an LMHC in New York. I will let you know if a registered dietitian or medical provider would serve you better.
- My practice provides outpatient therapy on a scheduled basis. If you are currently navigating active self-harm or suicidal ideation and need consistent, immediate crisis support, a higher level of care will serve you better than my format can. If you are in crisis now, please call or text 988, or call 911.

- What to expect prior to the initial 90-minute intake session
- Scheduling questions: how long, how frequent, how many sessions
- Payment and fee questions
- Contact methods and boundaries between sessions
- Things that matter to you when investing trust in working with someone
- What a typical session looks like
- Your preferences and specific goals for therapy
