    My Experiences

Navigating life between two families and two cultures—from the energy of NYC to the roots of Taipei—I learned early on how to Relate to environments that felt worlds apart. Growing up as an only child shifting between different parenting and educational systems, I spent years trying to bridge the gaps in my own identity, often struggling with health, body image, and the invisible friction of a neurodivergent brain.

These experiences were like a raging torrent until I began to Reflect on the fragments and gain Realizations about my unique design. My path to becoming a licensed mental health counselor was born from the need to Reconnect with my own agency.

Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of witnessing Resilience in the AAPI and BIPOC communities, working with wonderful souls from ages 5 to 85. In these diverse settings, I learned to Regulate and ground those I serve through the steady presence of my own nervous system, and Respond to our most essential needs. I’ve built a career on the Rapport of shared humanity, strengthening the way we Reprocess not just memories, but the very way we inhabit our stories.

    Our Goals

Water possesses remarkable qualities: formless yet powerful, yielding yet unyielding, always finding its course. I strive to partner with you on discovering these qualities within yourself by fostering an Openness to your inherent nature.

Together, we Observe and Organize the nuances of your internal landscape to Overcome the friction of a world that often demands constant conformity.

Our work involves learning how to Orient your Occupational and personal life with a sense of Objectivity, prioritizing the physiological ease of your body over outward compliance. By identifying new Opportunities for movement, we foster a grounded Optimism rooted in somatic trust, building the coordination required to soften the effort of navigating life, settle into your mind-body-spirit, and finally call it home.

    My Approaches

My practice is anchored in an Understanding of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, influenced by the Daoist/Taoist (道) philosophy of being like water. Recognizing that the human body is approximately 60% water, we find this essential element acting as the vital medium for our entire existence—from the hydration of our cellular membranes to the transportation of hormones and neurotransmitters.

I commit to co-navigating an Unbiased and Unconditionally supportive space where you can explore your Unique course, adapting to life's many turns with the same fluidity that sustains your biology. We examine the Unconscious currents and internal parts that create conflict, working toward a sense of Unity within your whole being.

By Utilizing tools like ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we help the body finally feel the safety that the mind already knows. Ultimately, as you follow the Unfolding map of your journey, your biology and psychology find their natural rhythm; the exhaustion of constant translation fades, empowering you to finally speak your authentic self.

  • "You can hold yourself back from the sufferings of the world, that is something you are free to do and it accords with your nature,
but perhaps this very holding back is the one suffering you could avoid.” ---- Franz Kafka
